Hello dear Anifit team,
.... 7 years ago, I was still stressed by the sometimes daily visits to the vet. My black tomcat Sammy's bladder was constantly inflamed and he was given antibiotic injections at the vet for 10 days. He was then "prescribed" ROYAL CANIN URINARY dry food.
... It all started when I noticed Sammy sitting in his toy box. On closer inspection, I discovered that he'd got rid of himself there. BLOOD ...
I went looking and found several places in the flat. Always just droplets, he didn't really seem to go in the litter tray any more. Off to the vet. Pipiprobe and the result ... Inflamed bladder. See above for procedure. This then happened 2-3 times a year.
After I picked up brochures from ANIFIT at the Hohenbusch farmers' market in 2011, Mrs Zintl from ANTIFIT visited me in November. My cats (see photo, Benny, Lucky, Sammy, Lissy) were then able to try out the food. Well, they were not really enthusiastic ;-) because they were used to different food before. The food they knew was also nicely flavoured with attractants :-/ . Sammy had another "ouch wee-wee" at this time. At some point I appointed myself nurse and gave him the injections. I was fed up with the daily travelling and waiting at the vet. Of course, Sammy was given URINARY dry food because that's what the vet wanted. I didn't know any other way than to put my trust in the doctor.
Guys ... Read the books "Dogs would live longer if .... " and "Cats would buy mice" .... Your eyes will be opened !!!
Well. After "devouring" the books recommended by Mrs Zintl and reading the SUPER small print on the cat food I had been giving my cats up to that point, I immediately placed a bulk order with ANIFIT. The rest of the "old" food, ESPECIALLY the dry food, went straight into the bin.
I didn't even bother with the slow changeover etc. anymore.
They were a little confused at first, as they were used to food with attractants.
I used to have to throw away Sammy and Lissy's leftover food because they didn't eat it. Now they don't leave any of it, but divide it up over the day/night.
Lissy used to be so fussy with food, she would only try a little and then she was already full. I can't even remember how many different types of food I tried.
In the first three months after the changeover, my "cows" Benny and Lucky even lost a few kilos and Lissy (the hungry one) put on weight.
Conclusion .... It is now 2015 and in all four years I have NOT been to the vet once for any PIPI problems!!!!
Unfortunately, my animals had to eat SCHROTT in their first years. But now they only eat ANIFIT!!!
